Q: Can we update our existing product review?
A: Yes! We can address any factual corrections immediately. For broader edits or enhancements, we’ll work with you ahead of your campaign’s go-live date.
Q: Where will our Premium Listing be placed on your site?
A: Your listing appears within our tool content group, alongside review-style content such as listicles and product comparisons (XvY).
Q: Which articles will link to our Premium Listing?
A: Your product review will be linked from any listicle or XvY article you’re mentioned in, as well as any spotlight content or submitted articles. In the future, editorial content that’s relevant to your offering may also include deep links.
Q: Are we limited to a specific software category?
A: No, your product review and XvY placements span multiple categories to help buyers evaluate across different use cases.
Q: Where can we add content like customer logos or deep links to our listing?
A: We’re building a formal editorial change request process. In the meantime, send us your requested updates via email. Deep links will be managed via your main campaign landing page.
Q: Can we submit articles that have already been published on our blog?
A: We ask for unique content to avoid duplicate or plagiarism flags—this protects both of us. That said, we’re happy to support you in revising existing content.
Q: Will our submitted content be promoted or rank on Google?
A: There’s no promotion for submitted content, paid or otherwise during the pilot. Submitted content will be internally linked from your product review page and comparison pages.
Q: How many internal links (backlinks) will our listing receive?
A:
- Product Review: Linked once from each listicle or XvY comparison you’re mentioned in.
- Partner Spotlight Article: One link to and from your product review.
- XvY Comparison Pages: One link to and from your product review.
Q: Can we control or limit how many links point to our site?
A: There’s no limit on internal links within our site. Each piece of content links once as outlined above. These links are based on where you appear (e.g., listicles, comparisons, spotlight articles).
Q: Are deep links considered backlinks?
A: Yes, if included in spotlight or editorial content we create, a deep link to your site counts as a backlink. Other links—like from a review page or listicle—are labeled as sponsored and use a no-follow tag per Google guidelines.
Q: Can we set a cap on costs tied to deep links?
A: Currently, no. These clicks are funded through your existing PPC campaign budget and aren’t managed separately. This could be explored in future versions of the product.
