Identify Core Strengths: We begin by thoroughly analyzing the core strengths and standout features of your software. This involves understanding the functionality, performance, user feedback, and any innovative aspects that differentiate your product.
Contextual Relevance: Your tagline may vary for different listicles based on the context. For example, in a listicle focused on "Best Project Management Tools," a tagline highlighting superior task management features would be appropriate. However, the same tagline might not be relevant in a listicle called "Best Collaboration Software," where your software solution’s communication and collaboration features would be more beneficial to highlight.
Avoiding Redundancy: To maintain uniqueness, we ensure that no two software solutions in the same listicle share the same tagline. If a tagline overlaps with another product, we delve deeper into your software’s features to find a different angle or unique aspect to highlight.
Strong and Specific: Effective taglines are strong and specific rather than generalized. For instance, stating "Best integrated solution" is too vague (i.e., what is being integrated with what?) Instead, a stronger tagline would be "Best for integrated financial and project management," which provides a clear and specific advantage.
Dynamic Formatting: We continuously test and evolve our content to keep it relevant and impactful and to improve CTR and traffic quality to your product. This includes making adjustments to tagline formatting. This might involve shortening the taglines to make them more to the point or adjusting wording, depending on what resonates best with our audience. This means that we reserve the right to change the formatting of taglines as we continue to update our methods.
By tailoring your tagline to fit the specific context of each listicle and ensuring it stands out uniquely, we help your software make a strong impression. If a tagline doesn't make sense or fit in context, we will refine it to find a unique angle that best represents your software's strengths.
When submitting an editorial change request, the field you want to fill out is labelled “Tagline.”
If you would like to request a change to your tagline for any given article, submit an editorial change request. Please note that our editorial team reserves the right to accept, reject, or adjust the suggested tagline as we see fit.
We try to follow the same format for all taglines in any given article (e.g., if all taglines start with “Best for…” your request should also follow that format). Keep in mind that your tagline request should not be generic, hyperbolic, or sales-y.
For example, “The only solution you need to increase productivity by 99%,” would not be accepted because it doesn’t follow the right format and it’s too sales-y in language. A better suggestion would be “Best for measuring productivity with time tracking.”
